While the implementation has been slower than expected, we focus on the quality of the certification and collaborate with several pharmacovigilance expert groups both on local and global scale.

The whole team worked effortlessly to reach this important milestone. It is another stepping stone towards accomplishing our mission - improving the competency of pharmacovigilance professionals, enhancing performance and recognition of the whole pharmacovigilance discipline.
Meet The Team
Kamil Uhlir is our latest member of the Institute and he has already made great strides towards initiating GPPC certification.
His role as Certification Project Manager consists of the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the certification processes as well as management of supporting IT tools.
Working with people and helping with their educational development, has been his passion for quite some time and as he says, the more he does it, the more he realises how fruitful the outcome is.
We are thrilled to have him in the team and it is our pleasure to introduce him to you.

The team of the Institute is growing and the accomplishment of our mission to create Global Pharmacovigilance Professional Certification is on the horizon.
We believe that the knowledge and support of the Director of GPPC, Mr. Tomas Pikola, MBA, will help us to reach our goal.
Tomas is an experienced Training and Development Lead with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry.
And this is a perfect opportunity to introduce Tomas and welcome him to the team.

5th ISoP Boston Seminar - Intelligent Automation in Pharmacovigilance
It is our pleasure to invite you to yet another ISoP Seminar, via Zoom, 6-7 December 2021.
The great tradition of ISoP is to limit commercial bias as much as possible, and focus on science and methodology behind the marketing buzz words. This year, you can expect another panel of senior speakers from innovative biotech and pharma companies along with members of different regulatory authorities.
As one VP level participant said, this is "easily the best event in the field you can attend worldwide, by far!".

We would like to share our latest news on what we have been working on. ISoP Special Interest Group on Pharmacovigilance Professional Qualification Framework, in collaboration with the Institute of Pharmacovigilance, has developed a guideline as the first step while developing the Global Pharmacovigilance Professional Certification (GPPC) program.

We are happy to announce that the director of the Institute of Pharmacovigilance, Dr. Jan Petracek, will be leading the discussions and training courses on the 5th Module – Signal Management for this year’s DIA/MEB Excellence in Pharmacovigilance virtual course. This is the most anticipated Pharmacovigilance course of the year!

We proudly present another member of the Institute of Pharmacovigilance, Milena Buzkova, MSc who is a member of the IPV Management Board.
Milena has a wide range of experience in management, and in organizing international agreements, as well as in administration. Thanks to her skills and nearly 15 years of experience in the pharmacovigilance industry, Milena is a valuable member of the Board.
